Munich, Germany
Munich — Bavaria's Capital, Zurich's Nearest German Flagship
Munich is BLACK TRANSFER's deepest coverage outside Switzerland: a flight-tracked Munich Airport (MUC) meet & greet, chauffeured Oktoberfest transport, boardroom pickups near Marienplatz, and a fixed-price, roughly two-hour drive straight from Zurich when you'd rather not fly at all.
Airport Transfer
Munich Airport (MUC) Transfer
One of Europe's most punctual hubs, around 40 minutes from central Munich. We monitor your flight, handle the wait if it's delayed and drive you straight to Marienplatz, Oktoberfest or your hotel — no queues, no shuttle transfers.
Munich Airport sits about 40 kilometres northeast of the city centre — noticeably farther out than Zurich's own airport — which is exactly why a pre-booked chauffeur matters more here, not less. Public transport (the S1 and S8 S-Bahn lines) takes 40–45 minutes into the centre with luggage and connections to manage; your chauffeur takes the direct A92/A9 route and gets you to Marienplatz or your hotel door in roughly the same time, without a single bag to carry yourself.
MUC runs two main terminals: Terminal 2 is the Lufthansa and Star Alliance hub (including the joint T2 satellite building), while Terminal 1 handles most other international and low-cost carriers. Tell us your terminal when you book and your chauffeur will be waiting inside the correct arrivals hall with a name sign, not guessing between the two.
We track your inbound flight automatically, so a delay on the tarmac or a late gate change never means a missed pickup or a wait-and-worry call from arrivals. If your flight lands early, we're already there; if it's held up, your chauffeur simply waits — no rebooking, no extra fee for the first hour of any reasonable delay.
From Zurich
Or skip the airport altogether — drive from Zurich
Munich is one of the very few German cities close enough to reach comfortably by chauffeured car rather than by plane, and it's our most-booked long-distance route out of Switzerland. The drive runs roughly two hours via the A96 motorway through the Allgäu foothills — genuinely scenic once you clear the Zurich ring roads — and drops you directly at your Munich address with no security queue, no boarding gate and no baggage carousel at either end.

In the city
Where we take you in Munich
Marienplatz & the old town
Munich's historic heart, anchored by the Neues Rathaus and its Glockenspiel — hotel and restaurant drop-offs right at the pedestrian-zone edge, where cars can't follow.
BMW Welt & the Olympic Park
BMW's futuristic showroom and museum, alongside the 1972 Olympic grounds — a popular half-day for business visitors extending a corporate trip.
Oktoberfest at Theresienwiese
Late September into early October, Munich's roads around the Wiesn close to private cars and taxis queue for hours — a pre-booked chauffeur with a fixed pickup point is the only reliable way in or out. Book weeks ahead; this is our busiest German date on the calendar.
The English Garden & Nymphenburg Palace
One of the largest urban parks in the world and the Wittelsbach dynasty's summer palace — both easy chauffeured detours between meetings or before a flight home.
Business travel
Munich's other identity: a serious business city
Beyond the beer halls, Munich headquarters some of Germany's largest companies — BMW, Siemens, Allianz and a dense cluster of tech and insurance firms — and hosts a heavy trade-fair calendar at Messe München. Our chauffeurs handle back-to-back meeting schedules, waiting time between appointments and discreet, on-time pickups the same way we do in Zurich's financial district.
